Look for Format option in the camera and format the card, after that is done try taking a picture again.

also make sure you have inserted a memory card and that the small switch one the card is not on the locked position.

does your camera have a removeable battery? if so, take the battery out for 5 minutes and then turn the camera on again and try doing what I said.

The problem Probably is that the memory card isn't the right kind, so it just records to the "Built in memory". The only way to fix this is to format the Memory card.

And you might try searching for the firmware update aswell.

Hi..
Your camera is not communicating with your card. With the card in the camera, you need to go into the Menu and find Format the Card. This procedure will delete the pictures from the card and set it to communicate with your camera. After formatting is complete, (card inside the camera) your camera will say....No images. This means that the card is clean and you can start taking/recording pics again. Hope I was able to explain formatting in a little more detail for you...

this will fix ur problem for sure..

Memory full aiptek pencam trio

Hi, i got exactly the same problem with my Aiptek Trio Pencam HD, and i solved it !!! :D
I opened it, you got to remove 6 screws:
2 screws at the bottom, 2 screws on the side, remove the plastic clip, remove the plastic cover over the cam, it is fixed with adhesive, and remove the last 2 screw.
Now open your cam, now you can see the electric circuit of the cam, and on this electric circuit you can see another little circuit with a chip, it is cliped, mine wasn't cliped correctly, try to clip it, and be sure that doesn't move.
PS: Sorry for my bad english

When I power up my Aiptek 720P camcorder the screen tells me the memory is full although I have emptied the memory

Try reformatting the media, if using an SD card, replace it with another and use a PC and format it FAT16 with a PC and USB dongle return it to the unit it should be OK, you may have to format again after you put it in sometimes too.

Deleting files on HD720p Aiptek camcorder

You are not doing anything wrong. For some reason, Aiptek doesn't give you this option on the camera. You have to insert you SD card into a reader and delete it that way. Ya, I know, doesn't make sense. Also, a feature I hate is it does place your videos into one continuous file. Only video clips, so each time you stop then start recording, it creates a new file. Anyway, I've had my Aiptek since 10/2008 and no problems so far. Great indoor videos. Not too crazy about the still pictures though.

Iwant the driver

Hi, the first site seems to have a one fits all aiptek driver. The second aipteks home, suggests that you shouldn't need one as it is plug and play. Have you deleted files you shouldn't from the camera? http://www.opendrivers.com/company/2185/aiptek-free-driver-download.html http://www.aiptek.com/drivers/actionhd/

Aiptek IS DV2

Seems like its time to flush the contents of the memory card of camcorder to a computer.
There's a limited amount of memory in every memory card. After constant recording, the memory  gets full and the recorded stuff needs to be either deleted or flushed (uploaded to a computer) to make room for newly recorded stuff.

Unless you have a blank memory card, your problem should be solved by the above mentioned idea.
