SOURCE: how to remove bios password for Toshiba Satellite A200

If you know the current password, use it to enter BIOS SETUP.
Then, type a "blank" ("space-bar") as the "new" password.

If you don't know the current password, you're stuck;
this is a "security" feature to prevent a stolen laptop from being used by the thief.

SOURCE: how do i reset the bios password on a toshiba

Usually, there is the CMOS battery located in your laptop's main board. You just have to take that battery off for like 3 minutes and then return it back. You will have to open your laptop's screws underneath. If this laptop is still under warranty, do not open it as it will revoke the warranty seal. Just take if to an authorized service center and let them do it for you for free.

SOURCE: how to enter PW RESET bios toshiba satellite 2410

Hello,
There are 2 ways you can reset your bios.

1. On the motherboard there is a small watch battery. Remove this battery along with the power cable from the power supply. Hold down the power button to fully discharge the system. Wait 2-3 minutes then reinstall the battery and plug in your system. Your reset is now complete

2. Some motherboards have a 3 pin jumper by the battery. Lets say that the jumper is on pins 2 and 3. Remove the jumper while the machine is OFF and place onto pins 1 and 2. Power on your machine for a minute. (Note: Your system will not POST). Shutdown your machine and put the jumper back to pins 2 and 3. Your reset is now complete

This is a great troubleshooting step for those of you having POST issues or no POSTing at all. Like other troubleshooting steps, this will not always work but usually will depending on the problem.

Please let me know if you have any further questions or concerns.
Thanks.

I can remenber the bios password toshiba 2415-s205

Here is a link to a site where you can buy a new security chips that can be used to replace the existing chips on a laptop or notebook and reset the security. Or you could get a bios password cracker from various other sites which would be much quicker and easier. But for legality reasons I can not disclose That process or link. however with a little google search you could easily find one of these programs.

Static coming out of speakers and then sound stopped completely

Hey, It is static electricity. Toshiba had some problems with their notebooks related with that problem. You will have to replace it or open the notebook and tap the speakers twice with a antistatic wrist strap. and then leave the wrist strap one speaker for the night.

Bios

You need a special dongle from Toshiba. You can make them (depending on your model) or visit a Toshiba service center and they'll remove them for I think about $100 bucks.. Some models will automatically lock up with a bios password out of no where. Toshiba knows this and if you say this they'll probably remove the passwords for FREE. Stick to your story!
