I could just give you the answer of 140 cm

but I think you need to know how I got this answer

A square is an object that has equal sides

area is calculated by length multiplied by width

so 1225 cm^2 area by using the square root of 1225 cm^2 gives you 35 cm

so each side is 35 cm and there are 4 sides so 35 cm +35 cm + 35 cm + 35 cm = 140 cm

If you are doing homework always show how you got the answer because in an exam having the working out shown can sometimes result in getting some marks even if you slipped up slightly and got the wrong answer.

the perimeter is like walking all around the outside. it looks like uve already given side c 14 cm. but its actually a square thats been pushed side ways slightly. get an empty square box or match box and push from one side so it looks like a parallelogram. all 4 sides are 14 + 14 + 14 + 14 = 56cm. pity there isnt a parallelogram to look at, uve not shown it...lol...

and i havent got a clue how to draw it in this box either..lol

Hello Jacqueline;

My name Peter. I am a engineering college graduate. Later I changed careers and now, I am a retired field service appliance technician. So, I work on the side and it you have any appliances that need repair call me @ 414306-1362.

The length on one side of the end triangle is "a"

The area of the end triangle is: (a x a) x 0.433 = Surface Area

The surface area of the prism face = a x length.

The volume is: The surface area of the end x the surface area of the face.

Your question is not clear at all. What are all those area measures in cm^2?

Take two segments that correspond to one another and for which you have the lengths.

This will allow you to find the scale factor k.

k= (length of a segment in smaller figure)/(length of**the corresponding segment **in larger figure).

Then

**Area of smaller figure =k^2(area of larger figure)**

In the formula above insert the area of the larger figure as given to you or as calculated by you using the shape and dimensions of the figure.

There are some
limiting factors like the oxygen availability and the
filtration processing. I gave you some examples below they all refer for small
or large freshwater fish.

3 cm of adult fish length per 4 liters of water.1 cm
of adult fish length per 30 square centimeters of surface area. 1 inch of adult
fish length per US gallon of water. 1 inch of adult fish length per 12 square
inches of surface area.

Total Surface Area

The total surface area is made up of three pairs of sides for a total of six sides.

We must find Areahw, which is the area of the side that is h by w.

Areahw = (h)(w)

We must find Areahl, which is the area of the side that is h by l.

Areahl = (h)(l)

We must find Areawl, which is the area of the side that is w by l.

Areawl = (w)(l)

Each of the above areas are present on two sides of the box. So, the total surface area is sum of twice each of these areas, that is:

Total Surface Area = 2(Areahw) + 2(Areahl) + 2(Areawl)

Example:

Let h = 3 cm, w = 5 cm, l = 8 cm

Areahw = (h)(w) = (3 cm)(5 cm) = 15 cm2

Areahl = (h)(l) = (3 cm)(8 cm) = 24 cm2

Areawl = (w)(l) = (5 cm)(8 cm) = 40 cm2

Total Surface Area = 2(Areahw) + 2(Areahl) + 2(Areawl)

Total Surface Area = 2(15 cm2) + 2(24 cm2) + 2(40 cm2)

Total Surface Area = 30 cm2 + 48 cm2 + 80 cm2

Total Surface Area = 158 cm2
