Asus eee PC 900 wireless access points

Hello, the problem I am having has to do with the wireless on my asus eee pc 900. I am setting these computers up on forklifts and I need them to switch between wireless access points. They problem is they are staying connected to the first access point they find and not moving fluidly to the next as the signal gets stronger. Is there something I can do to make this possible? Thanks for the help,

You should be using one access point and have repeaters to give you wider wireless coverage,

Windows should have the feature. Check Start menu, Accessibility, or something along those lines. Otherwise it may be in Control Panel, do a search for accessibility.

The question is is it the slot or the media? You can get an external card reader for about 5 to 10

Download anti-virus tools to a USB memory-stick, using a "trusted" computer, and then connect the memory-stick to your computer. Restart your computer, and choose Safe Mode. You'll be able to access the files on the memory-stick.

Asus eee pc 900a wireless connection not working

I've experienced the same problem with my ASUS netbook. Uninstall the wireless hard - remove hardware in control panel, reboot the machine and allow it to auto find the adapter again. This should correct it. If there are still problems verify that you have the most current driver for the wireless adapter, either from Asus, or the wireless adapter chipset manufacturer (i.e. Intel, broadcomm, etc.)

Hello, this is due to an update ASUS made to the wireless driver, it currently has an issue with WEP/WPA being active, for it to work this need to be disabled until ASUS comes out with a new update.

There are a few things people have tried on this blog which seems to have worked.

I am not able to connect this with internet.

If you would like to use wireless inernet, you have to have an access point nearby and that you know the authentication like the WEP or the WPA key, and you can get that from the network admin. click start > connect to > wireless network connection , then click on View wireless networks. click on the network you want to connect to, then click on connect. You should be able to connect after entering the passkey, or it automatically connects if the access point is unsecured.
