your dealing with what i suspect to be a y sus board problem replace that board and it will fire right up. make sure to check and change voltages as needed when changing any part in the tv. you may also consider purchasing a new tv if the price of the repair comes close to 400. new plasma at walmart online 399.00 free shipping

Sounds like your panel might be going out or a faulty video card. This is the first time I have heard of a solid pink screen on a plasma. Usually this happens on LCDs, though they sometimes go white and stay white, which does signal a bad panel. tv needs repair

The PDP (plasma display panel) is defective and needs to be replaced. The big problem is that Daewoo no longer carries replacement panels for this model. I'm in the same boat you're in. I hate to throw away the tv so I'm waiting to see if I can find a replacement panel on ebay.
