Question about Canon Office Equipment & Supplies
The problem cause could be the machine detects that the finisher is not positioned properly if you can detached the finisher from the machine check a hole in the finisher that match a protrusion from the machine , it pushes an interrupter to tell the machine that a finisher was in the correct position. to check fold a small piece of paper and push in to the hole( while the finisher is detached) check the display panel, hope this will help

Tips for a great answer:
service mode > copier > adjust > adjust xy > adjust Y input the value from the label on the front cover
This is all I could find. Try adjusting by 1/4 inch. Thank you Santosh
