SOURCE: I have a Miller
I found similar problem with few customers and one issue (should I said the standard issue) is the source of air. You need a steady pressure and flow of air into the machine. Check your air compressor you will need at least 6 cubic feet per minute (360 cubic feet per hour) and a 90 psi of pressure. Since there is no way to check the flow (unless you have an online flow meter at you air pipe) check the pressure at your air tank (reservoir), if the pressure drops below the 70 PSI then that's the problem; your compressor can't stand the flow. Other than that check your ground clamp and make sure it's making a good contact.

Check the cable connection to the cutter head and at the box. Also check to make sure the control boards are blown clean of dust.
