How to change bosch art 26 easytrim spool - Black & Decker 14" Grass Hog Xp Trimmer/Edger

To remove a spool from Bosch Easy Trim, place it on the floor or a work bench. Next, turn the middle nut to the right to remove the center. When done, remove the spool and line as well as the bottom casing. clean the line and spool using soapy water. reinstall the Trimmer parts the same way you removed them after you are done. worth taking the time to clean it when u have it apart.

If you are sure that it screws on it may be a reverse threaded unit..

You turn the spool anti-clockwise whilst gripping the bottom so it doesn't turn

I am not too familiar with the bosch series...but a lot of trimmers have a nut on the spool that is reverse threaded

No you will not be able to put in that cut out. The reason why is you will have 2 inches on each side or 4 inches on one side.
