SMTP Scan to email problem on a Ricoh MPC2500

Ricoh scanner uses a email account to send the scan to email. That email account has the wrong password on Ricoh settings, probably someone changed the password and now needs to be updated. I hope it helps.

12 RES - Control Panel Dead With New Battery

If it won't start in manual, you have a short and/or a bad control board. Make sure battery polarity is correct, did you disconnect battery charger before removing old battery? If not charger can push DC volts over 20V and can damage control board.

Mpc2500 mode button snapped off. i opened the mpc and removed the mode button. How can I get a new button?

You might try this site:

http://www.mpcstuff.com/mpc2500stuff.html

If the shaft/actuator snapped off a part on the board, then you will have to do unsoldering and soldering. Removing solder from the boards without the proper tools may damage the circuit board.

Try this site:http://www.akaipro.com/mpc2500 Try downloading all the the release notes for ver.1.24 if you haven't already. Download the ver.1.24 which seems to be the newest to your computer first and install from there. It might have gotten corrupted the first time you tried it. You will have to email them using the form for the newest release notes and the installation instructions:http://www.akaipro.com/mpc2500 http://www.akaipro.com/content1924.html and http://www.akaipro.com/mpc2500 are the URLs you need. How do you earse internal memerory

http://safemanuals.com/user-guide-instructions-owner-manual/AKAI/MPC2500-_E This is a free download. Try pages 14 and 15 also 23 also44 also page 66 also 83 also 90(purge samples) 103 (memory cards) 11 formatting page 108 deleting data in memory before loading, I'd suggest page 112 (save the contents by backing up to computer) then wiping the memory card. I don't have one of these units and I see the hard drive is an option which I don't know if you have. Read the manual from beginning top end and always save your work before deleting anything. Hope this helps.

RAM MEMORY SLOT EARS BROKE OFF--MPC2500

Replacing the slot on your machine will no only include soldering, but you're talking about soldering AT THE VERY LEAST 168 connections. When a slot goes bad, it is not deamed a "repairable" situation. The best solution, unfortunately, is to replace the motherboard and salvage the processor, ram, etc.

Cheers!
