Power button does not stay on

Power buttons are momentary switches. They usually just create a temporary ‘short’ to tell your computer to start. Odds are either the switch is broken or, if you’re using a laptop, the battery may not be working. Again, if it’s a laptop, try leaving the power cord plugged in. If the switch starts working the it’s your battery.
If you are using a desktop you can follow the lead wire from the power switch to the main board. There should be a pair of pins it attaches to. By shorting the pins with a paperclip and seeing if the power stays on you can see if it’s a broken switch.

Have you checked the 30amp fuse located at the starter solenoide, follow the poss lead from the battery untill you come to the solenoide, here you will find a fuse under a plastic cover, if you have done this allready, its quite simple using a test lite at the ignition switch loom end do you have 12volts dc at the main feed from the battery? If yes check the output from the ignition switch when in the on position, secondly does this machine have an alarm imobiliser fitted?

Fuse intact in supply lead but Neff H5470NO appears 'dead' - nothing working and no indicator lights is there another fuse ?

Dead appliance, power on wall outlet.

YOUR SAFETY IS PARAMOUNT!

Attempt this only if you are competent.

If your appliance has absolutely no functions at all, remove it from the mains supply, remove the case and see where the mains lead goes in to the appliance and follow the cable until you find the main fuse.
ONLY USE THE SAME TYPE AND RATING OF FUSE TO REPLACE IT.
The usual cause of this fuse failure is the door switches are contaminated or sticking. Check the door switches before putting power back on to the appliance.
Hope this helps.

Worked yesterday, but this morning is totally dead - power at the outlet is fine. Is there a master fuse somewhere? Aprox 4 years old. Thanks,Pat.

Not loading up to main screen

ok go to youtube and type" PS3 REPAIR/FIX" basicly what you do is put the ps3 on standby (the red light on) and then turn the main power off (the back switch) then hold the I/O button in the front (the on switch you use to put on standby) just hold it until it will go to standby then hold the I/O button again (the standby button) and then keep holding it until you hear one beep, then wait for two quick beeps. Then there should be a menu and select "Restore Defualt Settings". If it dosent work CONTACT SONY!
