i been trying to burn dvd on my burner but it wnt do it only cd's.

Cd is not reading by dvd writer but dvd is running smooth

1.when you write on dvd writer always select low speed to write such as 8x or 16x
2. most of the dvd writer do max speed while wrting the Cd or Dvd
3. due to this reason your cd is not reading
4. you can try a new disk write in slow speed,then check with your cd.
