From HOME SCREEN, touch Menu, Main Menu 1
-Touch Settings
-Touch Phone Settings
-Touch Security
-Enter the Lock code and touch OK, default lock code is usually the last 4 digits of yourphone number
-Touch Master Reset
-Touch Yes to confirm for hard resetting

If you know your original lock code, take it in to your service provider, each code is diffrent and can only be programed manually, if you dont know your original lock code you will have to sacrific all info pics,mess,numbers, etc. by a reset... I can guide you through the steps to erase all if you lost your Unlock code, or switch back to nam1 if you know your lock code, ( when you switch back, if security is on automatic lock, password is required) intial programing code is not your Unlock code.

MENU > SETTINGS AND TOOLS > PHONE SETTINGS > SECURITY > (Enter Your Password) (Default password is the last 4 digits of your phone number) > RESTORE DEFAULTS
WARNING: This will completely restore your phone back to factory defaults, if you intend to continue using your phone on your service, you will have to reactivate the phone using the *228 method. I do not know if this will incur charges or require any assitance from Verizon.
