After many hours of tweaking a brand new PC, something went wrong. I cannot log into the only Administrator account I had, once the computer had been rebooted.
I burned Windows Password Seeker to USB drive, followed the step-by-step instructions and in a few minutes was back in the computer.
What a lifesaver!
It will become a permanent part of my toolset for fixing Windows password problems.

SOURCE: forget bios password
I had same problem, just remove plastic trim ( the one with the switches to power on etc etc ) and you will see a micro dipswitch. It should have all 4 switches to 0, move switch 1 to position 1 power laptop and password should be removed. Turn laptop off move switch 1 back to posiotion 0 and replace the plastic trim. It worked for me on an ACer Aspire 3610.
