Listen to this. As at the moment I can't find the diagram in my messed records, you should remember, that only ohm rated resistor can burn, so easiest way to repair when you don't know what is the exact value, just pick one of the most common resistors, which would be 1kohm ssolder it in place. switch TV on and if you'll notice anything unusual, such as lets say green color is to bright or something, then start decreasing the value of the resistor, but gradualy, dont use something like 47 ohm at your first or second try as you may harm some other components.
That's what we do at our worshop when circuit diagram is not available. just picking 1kohm rated resistor. trying, if something still wrong, then picking 470ohm, then 390ohm, 270ohm, 180ohm, 100ohm, 68ohm, 47ohm, if needed going even down to 1 ohm

I'm more than 100 % sure that you'll repair your TV in this way very easy
Just don't forget to start from 1000 ohm.

remember that something caused resistor to burn so watch out for heat coming from resistor. if heat is raising immediately, then increase the resistance , but I don't think that you'll ever experience such thing on this occasion.

Update me about your progress, and if you need some more advise you can drop me a line t dissolu@gmail.com

Good luck

Use 1/2W it will be bigger, a bit less energy efficientbut you won't notice it on your electricity bill.
    Best of luck

I believe that what you need is the schematic diagram but not the service manual. You may visit www.atec.com and check if they can send you a schematic diagram.

Sorry, I tried accessing that site but it's blocked here in my end.

Have a great day ahead!

Seems to be a korean brand.

No clue about service manual, such a rare korean brand, Try contacting your dealer and the company directly.

Heres a wild guess R501 – 1R0 - 1Ohm. is it brown, black, gold?

I have a Cotek S1500 12v inverter that died. I found resistors R58 & R59 burnt. Can anybody post their values or a picture of the board? Thanks in advance!

I would almost guarantee that more than two resistors are the cause. Be sure to check all components around the resistors an check all transistors. Since you have it open check caps an diodes as well. Look on the board it may tell you what values are.

Samsung 52" HDTV red convergence bowed

First---look close at all the resistors around the chips--any that are white or discolored in the middle are suspect--MOST of the time a low value resistor (1.5, 1.8, 2.2 ohm) will be bad---check them all--there will be some 150 ohm or higher--they usually do not go--

There is a site I have found where you can download a service manual---I offer it only as information and not a solution-----http://www.nodevice.com/

If you find an open resistor or resistors they all have a location number on the top of the circuit board in case they are burnt and you cannot tell value from the color bands marked on them.

LET ME KNOW IF YOU HAVE ANY QUESTIONS OR NEED ADVICE- I am here to help people.

Resisters questions

Its best to replace both IC's. As far as the resistors, there are location #'s marked on the board where the resistors are mounted. If any look burnt, get the location numbers off the board, and your model # and email me @ halselectronics@comcast.net. I will get you the resistor values.

Part identification

Thats a RCA You'll have a hard time finding the service manual to that. But when a resistor burns it usually means something else made it burn so you need to look into the cause or a new resistor will almost certainly fry as soon as you power up. Hope this helps.
