How can i activate my blackberry phone

Which type of activation
1 BES(enterprise activation) (you have to contact with your BB administrator)
2 BIS(wireless activation)
follow the below instruction
GETTING STARTED
Now that you have received the BlackBerry device you have to perform the initial setup
before you can start receiving and sending emails. BlackBerry users, who selected the
BIS data plan and are only using mail.uh.edu, please see BIS initial setup heading only.
BES data plan users please skip the heading below.
BIS INITIAL SETUP
The following screen shots along with step by step instructions are intended as a guide
to setting up the mail.uh.edu account for users who selected the BIS data plan. You can
also setup other email accounts like Gmail by following the same steps listed below.
To start, scroll to the icon that reads “Set up Internet E-mail”. If you don’t see all the
icons click the menu button , all the icons should appear.

Go to, “Add An Email Account”. This will connect to the cellular providers BIS email
account setup. In short you are setting up access rights for the cellular providers BIS
server to log into your email account, retrieve your emails and push them to the
BlackBerry device.

Go to “Email Accounts” under Services. You might see the previous screen again.
Select “Add An Email Account”.

Under the heading, “Add An Email Account”. You will be asked to input your email
address and password. Your email address will be [email protected]. Click Next.

As long as you completed the information above correctly you will have successfully
configured your mail.uh.edu account. Please allow five to fifteen minutes for the emails
to start being delivered to your device.

You have two options in viewing your emails. You can check all email accounts and text
messages under the “Messages” icon. If you only want to see your mail.uh.edu emails
then click on the icon that displays your mail.uh.edu email address.
Send a test message to your mail.uh.edu email address

Remove the Microsoft Outlook Web Access email account and re-associate it with the BlackBerry smartphone using the correct mailbox name.

Revalidate the email account by logging in to your BlackBerry Internet Service account on your wireless service provider's web site and typing the user name and password for the associated account.

Request for service book for the associated Microsoft Outlook Web Access account from your service provider (customer care).

IMAP and SMTP services are active. IMAP is a method of accessing your email messages that are kept on a mail server. Once configured, IMAP allows you to download, read, manage, and send your email Messaging Center email using your favorite email client while online or offline. Using an IMAP-compliant email client such as Microsoft Outlook, Outlook Express or Netscape Messenger, an IMAP user can access his/her email on the server from different locations, using both the IMAP client and the WebMail client. For example, when you read a message and store it in a special folder in your IMAP client while at work, you can access that message and folder while reading your email at home with the WebMail client or with another IMAP client without having to transfer messages or folders between computer stations.

New to blackberry... help

Hi
has your provider added the Blackberry service to your mobile account? Easy way to tell is look at top of screen where gprs is shown. If it is not in capital letters, i.e. GPRS, then the Blackberry service has not been activated. With the Blackberry service activated all you need to do is launch the email set up wizard and enter 'email address' and 'password' that you use to access that email account say on a pc. Then it should set itself up using the Blackberry service.
With regards to Face book, make sure your internet browser on device is running and visit the Blackberry website where you can download the new Aps application. Here you will find Facebook Ap and many more to download over the air.
I presume the Blackberry service works the same all over the world? Thats how the UK system works. Hope that helps?

Sir, could you help me solve activation password in my blackberry curve 8320?

Blackberry Enterprise Server is usually a corporate option and involves linking your Blackberry to a server like Microsoft Exchange. Are you trying to link to a corporate server or do you just want to use the standard Blackberry service? If you are trying to link to a corp server you will need to speak to your works I.T. dept who manage the server as they will have set passwords and email access. If you just want to use the standard Blackberry service speak to you network provider who can add Blackberry service to your account and set it up for you.
Hope that helps?
