The easiest way to know this is opening up the computer with a philips screwdriver and verifying if you can see S-ATA ports on the system board. They look like the red and black connectors on the following picture: http://www.pcper.com/images/reviews/98/board_sata.jpg
if you can see those connectors, your system supports it. in that case, you just have to connect the disk (don't forget to connect a power connector as well, these connectors are mostly black)
