Biostar 945GC-M7 restart before anything apears on screen

Hello here is the homepage:

This sounds possibly like a RAM problem. Or a hard drive problem ( bad sectors), or the powersupply. Try to replace the RAM.

When you we`re starting XP, did you see any blue screens just after the logo?

Try to start in fail safe mode by pressing F8, if it boots normal it`s not the harddrive.

So all I can think of at the moment is faulty RAM. Try run a memory test (that memtest86 or whatever it is) and see if it fails. If so, buy new RAM.

Hope that helps

Motherboard problem. when i press the power button it displays floppy disk failed and it require to press f1 to continue. how to restore the previous? please help.......MCP6P M2+ Ver. 6.x

Go to bios settings (Press F2 or Delete or as shown there to enter the Bios settings), and locate the "Floppy Seek Boot" and disable it. This will fix your problem. I can't give you specific answer since I am not much familiar with Biostar. But i hope at least this helps. good luck. Thanks for using FixYa.

System freezes on boot up

hi there,

did your system to press F1 to continue. not try to go on BIOS setup. on booting process press F2 or Delete tab. and then click on safe mode if the booting will continue to run. come up a confirmation if you continue in safe mode click yes. and then work on that system for a couple of minutes, and then restart you pc.

you have too many start up programs. that why it will freeze during start up.
