Question about GE Profile JTP56 Electric Double Oven
When it rains, it pours! I've had many problems with my GE products during this past year and the thought of having the repair man in AGAIN is maddening.....can you help me? I rarely use the bottom oven....out of the blue, today, it starts to signal with an F0 and beep.
F0 typically means a shorted OFF key. You can trouble shoot this with an ohmmeter. Turn off the power. Disconnect the ribbon cable. Check flat cable pins 13-14. Normally the ohmmeter should show an open circuit. Press the OFF key. The resistance should be 100 to150 ohms. If all this turns out to be normal, there is probably an intermittent short circuit. Try my fix at the following link:
I have share this with over 1360 folks and most report success.
