Question about Rival CF275 Deep Fryer
I plugged in the fryer and turned it on. It showed on the green light an orange light like it was ready which of course it wasn't.
I replugged ithe front and the rear still nothing.
What steps can I do to insure everything is in place and that it will heat up.
Thanks for your help.
I've misplaced my manual so that is why I'm emailing.
I have a Rival Fryer Model CF250. Was working great for weeks, then after doing a few rounds of wings it quit. All lights were off and no heat.
I took the entire fryer apart and began testing connections for resistance, voltage, etc. They are very basic machines. It appears to me that my failure has to do with a diode, this particular diode sits protected by plastic and held by a srping mechanism, I assume it is the temperature sensor.
I assume that the completed circuit relies on this sensor so it being bad has made power quit.

Hi, Its very possible that you have the wrong power to your fryer. I noticed that you said that you tried to plug it in. If it does not seem to fit or if you had to bend anything on the plug to make it fit you need to have an electrician check to make sure you have the correct power to the fryer. The wall outlet will have the power information printed on it. The manual will give you the power requirements. It the plug fits ok, check your breaker for that outlet. Good Luck.
