You might have a broken tray drive belt. Take off the outside cover and look for a small black rubber belt or its pieces.

see this steps:
Turn on the DVD player.

  • 2 Open the DVD disc tray and keep it open. Power on your DVD player and open the disk tray. Leave the tray open as DVD region code hacks need the tray to be open as the code is entered for it to get activated.

  • 3 Press the "Home" key on the DVD remote.
  • 4 Select the "Setup" option.
  • 5 Select the "Lock" icon by using the arrow keys on the remote control.
  • 6 Press the number key "0," seven times on the remote. This is the code-"0000000."

  • God bless you

How do I enable this player to become multi-region? I believe it's based on a Pioneer rather than one of Teac's own designs.

DVD tray makes noise when it rotates

This noise can be casued by two things:

    1) The tray is not completely in the loaded position and the "clamper" is rubbing. Replace the loading belt and the loading sequence will complete and the noise should stop.

    2) The "CD table" that is part of the spindle motor assembly has slipped a bit. This will make the CD/DVD ride too low and strike the lower tray support. This will require that the table be "re-aligned" to the proper height which may not be possible on your model without special measurement equipment. The height is critical to proper operation of the unit.

Try replacing the load belt first and report your results.

Ilo DVDR05 Vibration and loud humming noise

i experienced that problem cause is the cd itself.there cd's that are too thick so the motor has hard time rotating that makes vibrating sound.the other ,don't put something over your unit.the cover is touching the holder of the cd and makes a sound.just do the necessary things to be done like don't put something on top your unit.if not, then a manual analysis of the tech is the last option.
