I have an HP deskjet 3650 and it was printing just fine then I umplugged the printer from my laptop and now it won't print. The printer shows up on the list of available printers and when I go to print a document it shows up as 1 document pending and will not print. I cancel the document and then try printing it again and it stays as 1 document pending and will not print. What should I do??
1. uninstall your printer
2. restart your system

It may take a few iterations to solve this. Did you plug it into the same port on your notebook as before? If not, go back to the one that worked; the port may be bad or disconnected. Did you do anything system-wise to the computer between the time you unplugged the printer and plugged it back in? Installed or uninstalled programs, ran microsoft update, etc. If yes, consider restoring to a restore point before you unplugged. But, you may want to pursue the steps below before doing that.
Then check the driver. Assuming Windows XP, Go to start menu\settings\printers and faxes. Right click the 3650 icon, then click properties. This will give you a properties window open to the General tab. Select the Advanced tab. Ensure Always available is checked. Ensure that the correct driver is shown in the window. Go back to the General tab and select Print Test Page.
If the Test Page is queued or not printed and you have made any changes to the system, check for a new driver from HP, link is below:

If you have another computer available to us to test, try connecting the printer and installing the drivers on the other computer to assist in isolating the cause.
Keep notes about what happens at each step. If none of this works, post your notes so we can go from there.
