Where can i find my pin code of nokia N73? - Nokia N73 Cellular Phone

    Dear Loughlan,

    First of all i thank you for your kind mentality to help. I calld my network provider for the pin code, but they said they cant help me. i should go for a sim replacement. when i restart the phone, it is asking for pin code. i tried putting zeros ( i put all zeros which i can put). then it accepted. after that it is asking for puk code. what should i do?

For any sim related unlock enquiries, you should contact your telco as they should be able to help you out.
Your PIN code is a code that is part of your sim card (call your telco)
This is not to be confused with your PUK code (which is also part of your sim card, and... yep, you guessed it... telco!)
If it is an network lock, or a handset lock, try 12345 or 0000 or 1234 alternatively you can visit a local service agent to have it reset. (you will have to provide proof of purchase/ownership and a bit of ID)

    Very odd..


    The pin number they shouldn't know (unless its the default)


    The PUK code, they SHOULD be able to issue.


    Could you indulge my curiousity and give the telco a call again and as for the PUK code (it should be long, approx 10 digits)


    Very interested to see how you go.

DEFAULT PUK CODE AND PIN CODE FOR N73 ME
No the Default PUK and PIN codes are not set by you, these codes are Service Provider Dependent (SIM)
All you have to so is to call your Service Providers Customer Support (Like of T-Mobile, AT&T...).
And ask them about the PUK and PIN code, they will first Authenticate few things about the Ownership of the SIM card, and will give you the codes, in return.

Forget my nokia n73 lock code
If you need the SIM Pin number to switch the phone on, then you have to enter any Pin number 4/5 times, then the phone will request a PUK number. This number was on the plastic card that your SIM card was attached to. If you don't have it, only your Network Service Provider can supply it to you.

If it's the Security code you need, to get into certain settings IE. Erasing received calls, missed calls, timers etc... The Nokia default is 12345 if you didn't change it, but if you did change it and you've forgotten it, let me know, I'll tell you how to retrieve it.
The IMEI number doesn't have anything to do with the SIM Pin number. It is used to identify, track, and Blacklist your phone.

If you miss keyed (or forget) your SIM Pin code, and enter the wrong one 3-5 times in a row, the sim will lock up, and you'll need to enter the unlock code to release it. You should ask your Network Service Provider for this code when you need it. Don't try to guess it, because after a few wrong guesses, the SIM card will be permanently disabled.

Forgot my lock code for N73
you need to have a master reset code to reset all the settings. I do have an unlocker for this. if you want just give me the IMEI code and I could process it for you FREE.
