Question about Peg Perego John Deere Utility Tractor

1 Answer

Peg perego john deere powerpull tractor will not run

When my son drives it, it will stop.
After a short time or if he pushes it, it will start running
again. Then it will stop a few minutes later. Is this a
circuit breaker issue or is it a pedal accelerator switch
problem. Is there a way to tell before I start replacing
stuff.

We have a Peg Perego John Deere tractor that won't go. We've tried recharging the battery but it still doesn't work. The last time it was used, my son was repeatedly pushing the accelerator...

check the battery with a multimeter and make sure you are getting at least 12 volts, if its not showing any voltage one of the wires from under the plastic housing has become disconnected, if it is showing voltage but not 12 volts recharge it then check it again after about 12 hours and make sure it is showing 12 volts, if it isn't check your charger with a multimeter and make sure that its putting out at least 13.8 volts, if it is then you have a bad battery
