Wii red light going batty flashing like every 1/3rd of a second, and it will not turn on. I FIXED MINE BY UNPLUGGING EVERYTHNIG CARDS, CABLES, FROM EVERYWHERE, AND REMOVE SDCARDS ALSO, AND DISCS, BOTH GC & WII CARDS, SENSOR BAR PLUG, POWER Plug *ALL THAT'S PLUGGED OR INSERTED... Now i plugged everything back in ACCEPT Not Sensor PLUG To back of wii, then the light quit (This is after 4 min break all undone...) And then plugged the Sensor plug and THEN as i finally plugged in the POWER Plug I first held the SYNC red button on the Wii, and then plugged it in and WAH-LAH Isue Resolved Immediately, KUDOS for the hints Cheerz & Peace Love Banish Fear/ hate to not even give it thought in root thoughtfulness.!. www.fb.com/stanleydeanparker/
If you plug in your Wii and the power light ISN'T RED BEFORE YOU TURN IT ON
1 Disconnect everything
2 hold the power button down for 20-30sec
3 Plug everything back in
4 The power button should be red
5 Press it
6 It should be on
7 If not you have power supply problems and need to get a new one
Thank you for your time, Good luck and I hope this works
Press and hold the the red button under the flap on the wii for 30 seconds this will clear all pairings of controllers. Then press the red buton under the wii again and let go immediately now open the battery case of the controller and press that red button uner there and the controller will pair again and it will work the wii
You are not getting the correct voltage into the Wii, this can happen one of three ways. (1) The power converter you have is not converting the power correctly, (2) running on converters are not exactly matching the correct voltage and wattage has strained your power supply and damaged the Wii, or (3) the power supply itself just failed as a result of any number of normal electrical conditions.
HI, the power sector has failed in your unit. this will cause the issues you are experiencing at this time. you will need to contact Nintendo at this time. they will issue you a repair ticket so that this unit can be repair. the power sector will need to be replaced(Power component failure).
According to Nintendo u can try this. 1. push the reset button and if that doesn't work unplug all cords and memory cards (including sd) from wii and unplug av from the wii and the outlet in wall. Wait 2-3 min and then plug it back in. Thats as far as i got because that fixed my problem hope this helps someone!!!
