I have been using a Tamron 28-300mm lens with a Canon XTi. Thing have been working fine until the last time I used the camera. I can only take pics with manual. Any suggestions or explanation?
I have been using a Tamron 28-300mm F/3.5-6.3 LD Aspherical(IF) MACRO (Model 185D) lens with a Canon Rebel 2000.
Thing have been working fine until the last time I used the lense. I can only take pics with manual focus. When I Zoom, the Auto Focus focus ring is not rotating when I press the shutter button.
Normally the autofocus focus ring should rotate and a clear picture is visible when I press the shutter button.
I tried with other lense it works fine.
Any suggestions and help?
Thanks in Advance.

I had the same problem with my Digital Rebel and the Tamron 18-250mm. I sent the lens back and am hoping the new one doesn't have the same issue.
