Question about Canon PowerShot A550 Digital Camera
Took photos of our first camping trip and showed my husband photos when we returned home- all were there (4 GB Card). Two days later, went to show a friend and one whole day was gone. I stopped using card immediately. Tonight I put card in camera to transfer photos and another whole day has disappeared- What is going on??? I have checked internal memory and nothing is there- I want to cry! I did go to a card recovery program after 1st day was lost and pbotos do show up- Is there a free program or one I don't have to spend a forturne on? I am afraid that if I put my card in again I will lose another day. PLEASE HELP :)
I have had success with this... Download this digital picture recovery program
You have to use a card reader either on your computer or an external USB card reader. Put the card in the card reader, open the recovery program, then select the drive where files are deleted, then press "Start" and wait for it to do it's magic.

Go buy a cheap card reader that you put your photo card into and connect to your computer. You can get tham fairly cheap. $10 to $20 or even less.
