Question about Printers & Copiers
After removing a paper jam from the fixing assembly, the paper jam light remained on. Close inspection revealed a torn fixing film and I replaced the replaced the fixing film assembly. After cleaned all rollers etc and reassembling the machine, the paper jam light remained illuminated. I took it apart again checked everywhere for paper, dust etc, cleaned the static eliminator yet the paper jam light stays on. I'm totally confused. Is there something I'm missing?

POSSIBLE BAD EXPOSURE LAMP, SOUNDS FUNNY BUT THIS MODEL WILL SEND JAM CODE WITH BAD EXPOSURE LAMP. CHECK TO SEE IF LIGHT IS IN PREHEAT MODE. ALSO THE EXIT PAPER SWITCH GETS BROKEN OFF ON THIS MODEL...
