ws 65809 wont power up at all Any suggestions to fix this Thanks problem?

- If this is the problem I am having with my tv. Do you think its worth fixing or should I give it up. I hate to spend much on the tv. But, I also hate to buy a new tv. - could the STK392-570 prevent the tv from powering up? when I plug in the tv, it sounds like it is working. But it doesnt power up when I press the power buttom. One of the STK392-570 solder is loose and pretty sure one of the point looks a little burnt. Thanks you so much for the excellent advice.Aug 21, 2009

- what color would the substance look like on the boards? I do see some whitish compound on it. The same stuff i put of the ic's. Also, I am looking at another mits 65" and the guy says, The sound works and no picture. What do you think might be the problem with it? Thanks for all of your advice.Aug 26, 2009
