I have an Acer 3690, with a Celeron processor, 1GB RAM, and Windows Vista Business. I connect to the Internet via a Kyocera Passport EVDO Modem and have Internet Connection Sharing enabled. The computer hangs frequently when I am browsing the Internet either directly from the Acer or from another PC that connects to the internet thru the shared connection. When the Acer hangs the only thing I can do is turning it off by pressing the power switch. Any idea?

    Thanks

the operations manager of ABC enterprises is concerned about the performance of end user employees in his organization. he believes that the employees spend more time browsing the internet at work which is affecting their performance, especially if they have Facebook account. furthermore, he thinks that as the employees browse the internet, their attention to work is further reduced.

I have intel 101 Ggc Mother board and intel pentium D processor , i was using 756MB ram (512+ 256MB) RAM. But after i brought 1 GB ram and Used it instead of 256 MB Ram the system started restarting...

There is a chance that you have faulty RAM module. If computer is stable on POST (until Windows boot-up) I would suggest to use some testing tools to test that RAM with your motherboard. There is a good program called MemTest. You can find it online if you search Hirens Boot CD. Download it, burn image to disk, put 1GB RAM into motherboard, start-up PC and boot from CD. Then you'll search for Memtest program. I would suggest to leave PC for at least 6 hours for testing to find out if it's faulty or not (better to leave for 24 hours).

Vista compatiable

intel doesnt list any vista drivers for that motherboard on there site so you might run into problems with the intergraded devices such as the ethernet, audio, chipset, & any intergraded video

You might be able to use the xp drivers but if theres problems it wouldnt be supported by intel

Game guard dump_wmimmc.sys

Cloaked Malware. The Process is packed and/or encrypted using a software packing process. DUMP_WMIMMC.SYS has been the subject of the following behavior:
Created as a new Background Service on the machine
Loaded and Executed as a System Driver File
Deleted as a process from disk
Created as a process on disk

This file I believe it is from GameGuard, Nprotect.
