Question about HP Officejet 5610 All-In-One InkJet Printer
Well,we plugged in the All-In-One,and for a couple months it worked, but then it just stopped working.I tried going to settings and making it so it would be ready for printing, and scanning and all that jazz, but it still said that there was no printer connected to the computer.I have a laptop, and I even tried blowing into the USB thing to see if any dust was in there. It didn't work all that well in the first place, but it just stopped working now.It turns on,and you can press the buttons and stuff, but it just doesn't scan, fax,or print.
a 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.

Here is the HP site that talks about resolving unexpected noises (such as clicking)...
You also might try doing a full reset on the device. Here is how to do that: While switching on the scanner press # and 9 to initialize.
This should give you some good directions and if it does not resolve the issue, the next step would be to have it serviced or replaced.

I am sick and tired of the problems i have with this PSC, but i have found a scanning solution and thought i would share it.
Use Microsoft Paint. It's not the best application in the world, but you can insert a scan from a scanner in the 'file' menu. :0) The scans are not of the best quality, but i'm grateful i can scan at all with this useless PSC.

unplug the power cord from back of printer and than press and hold the ON button for 30 second, than release the button than connect the power cord and turn on the printer

I had this same problem and it is fixable, but not the way you would probably like, though you can still scan with the printer. You just have to open the Paint program and click from scanner or camera, and then choose your printer and click scan preview, and then scan, it works just fine but its a little time consuming.
