Ok, here is the way to fix your problem. You need to use another computer and either a flash drive or external hard drive. Go to the manufacturers website and download the drivers you need on the second computer, save them to the flash drive or hard drive. Once done you connect the flash drive or hard drive to the first computer and then install the drivers from the device you used. I would recommend just doing the lan driver or wireless driver only then connect the first computer to the internet and finish installing the drivers. The easiest way to do that is go to control panel, then devices and click on the ones with question marks and search the internet for the driver automatically. This will work for most or all of them. If it does not work you can just go to the manufacturers website and download them manually as you did with the network drivers. If you need further help, just let me know.
You dont need this information, I meant and sorry I did not clarify, the computer manufacturers site. ie: Gateway, toshiba or something else. You should be able to put in your serial number or model number in to assist you there.
Here is the link to the site for you, just click download drivers and software and then put in your model number. If you have trouble, just let me know and let me know your model number and I will see if I can help further.
You should try this one, here is the link. This is for the LAN
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softw...
Or this one, this is for the wireless LAN
http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/softw...
The only other driver you should need for the network is for wireless

The third one is an update to the original driver. Just download them and save them to a flash drive, and then plug in the flash drive to the original computer to load them.
The only reason these would not be compatible is the devices themselves have been changed. When you download them, you are just downloading and saving them correct? Then trying to load them on your computer?

What if I don't know the manufacturers website? i.e. who the manufacturer is for these items?
It's a HP and when I go to the HP site , the drivers are not available there?
It's a HP Pavilion m9250f product # kj382aa#aba I have checked the link and downloaded the drivers that I thought might apply but I don't think the ones I need are listed?
I think these are the same ones that I tried last night but I will follow your directions. I kept getting a "not compatable" with them last night.
This seems to have worked. I am able to connect to the internet now. Are there any other things that I should look for since I just reinstalled Vista which wiped everything else out? If you can't tell me without me going through the being charged process again then I understand. Thanks for your help.
