Hello miran,
this has happened to a ds i had before, and it's just dead. It also happened to an ipod i had and the only way it would work is if i had it plugged into a power source, so maybe try turning it on while its plugged in? If it works then congratulations... you now had a nintendo DS that needs life support.

Ds lite charge is ok but sometimes wont on

This could be a few things. The easiest would be the battery. If the battery's connection points are dirty that may have something to do with your problem.
It could also be the charger. Is it approved by Nintendo?
Or it could be the charging port itself. If it's damaged internally or not situated right on the motherboard, then it may only be able to charge from certain angles.

The DS wont charge because my daughter stuck a penney in the DS

Try and unscrew all the covers for the DS and locate the penny. Just try not to stretch wires or anything.

Ds will not turn on

Okay, So according to your problem, you could try maybe to remove all possible outside connections ( DS cardtridge or GTA Cart) Then try actually changing the battery itself as maybe it is the battery problem, but thats all i can help to. : ) Hope you get them fixed soon. You could get them looked at at a NDS shop too

My son's nintendo ds has been charging for a day now, but it

The battery is probably completely drained. Rechargeable batteries have a certain lifetime in which they can be charged to. The charge limit for a Nintendo DS is approx. 500 charges. When you pass this limit the battery will no longer work. Your best option is to buy a replacement battery at http://www.nintendo.com/consumer/
After a year or more a rechargeable battery won't last as long as it did when it was new.

MY DS WONT CHARGE

You need a new battery. After you a certain amount of charges, the battery's charge capacity is decreased. A new battery is all you need.

I've had this... It's dead, if you got it recently I suggest giving Nintendo a ring and trying to get them to replace it. otherwise it's done for, at least in my experience. 'twas a sad day for me.. and now for you. -_-

Hey. Um I think he's just playing it alot therefore draining the battery rapidly or just charging it to quickly and not long enough. Not to worry theres nothing wrong with the console. :-)
