Question about Whirlpool Washing Machines
Hi: Where the hot and cold water lines attach to the back of the washer is usually the solenoid (the water valve.) As a matter of fact it sticks through the back wall (usually) and the water lines attach to it. Replacing that should solve the problem. I don't have the model number so input it at www.searspartsdirect.com and it will give you a parts list and a schematic. I hope this helps, Jeff.
