Question about Gateway M6307 Notebook
I had this problem assuming that it is the same.
Possible solution, (worked for me);
With Laptop unplugged, hold down 0, (Zero), key for 30 seconds. At the end of 30 seconds keep holding 0, (Zero), key down and plug in and press the power button.
*I had to press power button a 2nd time*
Computer powered on and booted, though it took nearly 20 minutes for me to get a boot screen for windows; I could only get a choice for Bios. But aftr about 20 minutes of just waiting the Boot screen changed to the normal Boot Menu and I was able to get Back into Windows no problem.
I think I tracked the issue down to a Windows update, but a still trying to define which one specifically.
If this doesn't work; See previous Answers about Power supplies and cords.

Wont turn on i assume this is with it plugged into the wall? Sounds like a cord issue (the black box that converts the energy to the usable type specified by manufacturer) or its a Power supply issue within the computer.
If it is solution 1 then you need to order a new cable and try it out. If this doesn't work the power supplies for laptop vary in price but you might get lucky and find one on ebay for cheap. Just look up the model of you PC and search for Powersupplies.
