Question about Emerson Microwave Ovens
I have an Emerson microwave and the fan blows and the turntable moves but the food is ice cold. Heating element? I would like to keep this oven but if it is not fixable please find me a few comprable replacements. thanks!
That is usually characteristic of a fault in the circuit which powers the magneto, or the magneto itself, that is the device which creates the actual microwaves, most microwaves internal lights dim, or the tone of of the exhaust fan changes slightly when the magneto kicks in because of the power draw, if your microwave isn't doing that anymore that is likely your culprit.

Is this a combi oven? If it is not-and only a micro then there is no heating element. Try it on micro(if its a combi) with a mug of water for approx 30 seconds to test it. If its a combi-is the micro function still working?
