Wii remote not pointing

Both remotes will not work with any games except wii sports. Any time we need to move the "pointer" like the shooting game in Wii Play, or to stamp the calendar on Wii Fit the remotes will not work.

Cannot even use the Mii area. When Home is pressed the home menu displays but there is no pointer to click on Wii Menu ......

1- Try to press home button ,if it loads u can sync the remote from there.
or
2- Try to re-sync your remotes by pressing both sync (from remote and wii at same time) in the game.
or
3- You can get a new remote and see if it works during playing . If it does your previous remote isn't working properly, but if it doesn't there is a problem in either the game or wii (bluetooth module)

Wii remote works but not for wii sports

If you're wii remote works as a pointer but not when swinging it then it is a problem with the accelerometer inside the wii remote and not the infra red bit on the end. Good news is its usually just stuck as mine was. Nintendo recommend turning the remote upside down and giving it a few taps on the palm of your hand. Worked on mine and saved me £30 as i was about to buy a new one.

Pokemon Battle REvolution rental can't start the game

it could be simply that the remotes are not turned on.or it could be that they are not pointing it at the motion sensor or they are standing too close.
I would advise to stand atleast 5 feet away from the screen
note that the blue pokeball is the wii remote pointer

My wii remote

@ Slivic22
Some games does not use Sensor Bar pointing because they play with motion/accelerometer only. After you select the number of sets on Wii Sports Tennis, there is no Sensor Bar pointing except for Pause menu. That's because you Swing the remote like a racket.
