Question about Singer Quantum XL-6000 Computerized Sewing Machine
I had the same problem happen to me. I had the machine serviced twice already - but I embroider a whole lot. One of the problem is that your machine needs to be oiled, and the other problem - which seems to be a major flaw, when the automatic bobbin winds, it sometimes winds the thread around the bobbin cup (the metal part where the plastic cup sits in to hold the bobbin). When this happens, the machine start to make almost like a swooshing sound and then it stops working. I can't even raise the needle. Check if that is the problem, then you have to take the embroidery scissors and cut the thread and then carefully pull it out with the tweezers. It's time consuming and frustrating but it can be done. Please check your machine about the thread and let me know.
