Question about AudioBahn A8002T Car Audio Amplifier

Amp blows main power fuse..

Got an Audiobahn A8002V amp...was brand new 6 months ago...never worked too hard...now it keeps blowning the main fuse in the power cord....traced all my wiring and all looks good...ground is good....took off the top cover of the amp and nothing looks bad?? not quite for sure what i should be looking for?? any help is appreciated

No "fault" lights? If not it HAS to be a connection...whether they look bad or not, Redo them, ground FIRST.

Brand new Audiobahn amp burning smell


i'd need more info but from what you've stated, sorry to break it to you but it sounds likely you've incorrectly wired you speakers and blown your amp. this will prove no doubt an expensive mistake and learning exercise.

may be the coil filter choke is wornout...DC supply stage inside your amplifier...go to the nearest electronic tech to repair that..

its probably something lose inside ur amp that causing the amp to ground out ur fuses every time

Audiobahn A2502DP amp is alive but wont talk to me


Your "bumpin" may have killed the amps "bumpin" Was the amp secure when you were sliding? So wires are ok, and lights and finas running. You have power but no output..Check the settings on the amp, also the fuse. Something might be earthing itself to the amp as well.

Audiobahn 12' subs and audiobahn amp


First thing is first. What subs do you have? Audiobahn makes several kinds of 12" subs. What model sub do you have?
Without knowing this, it would be hard to recomend an amp without knowing how much power your sub can handle. Audiobahn makes from very power amps that can put out up to 5000W RMS, but if your sub can not handle that power, then you will blow your sub.
