SOURCE: How do I install the
Follow these steps :
1. Install the webcam by plugging the USB cable in to the port, and turning on computer. The computer's operating system will find the camera, and ask you to install the driver. The camera should have come with an installation disc. Place the disc in the drive when it prompts you to install the driver click on "Yes." At this time it also will install the camera software.
2. Adjust the camera by going into the camera software. This will allow you to change things like the speaker, microphone and camera resolution settings. Focus by using the ring around the lens. The camera software should also allow you to take still photos from it as well as motion pictures. You can also usually do audio captures. These things will be labeled on the menu usually by obvious icons like a camera for still pictures.
3. Speak into the built in microphone that is in the camera or use an external headphone set.
4. Call a friend with Skype, Yahoo Messenger, ICQ, or Windows Live. All these Voice over IP software applications come integrated with webcam features that will allow you to talk to and see the person you call. To do this simply load up the software and call a person from your call list. To add a contact simply type in new contact and put in a person's e-mail address or user id. Either use a pair of headphones or the camera's built in microphone to speak into. There will be a button in Skype for a video call. The other softwares will also have a feature like this although it may say webcam.
