Question about Linksys WPC54G Wireless-G Notebook Adapter V2.0 (WPC54C)
Need help installing lost instructions
Neet the complete model no of the adapter and the operating s/m where you are trying to install the adapter..
but i'll give you a general idea..
without running the setup cd, what ever the operating s/m is , when you plug in the adapter to the pc, the adapter should be detucted.. you should geta found new hardware message.. if not try witha diff pc still not, the adapter is having problems, if the adapter is detected in a win xp pc, click next, next and follow the instructions, automatically the adpter would get installed..

Tips for a great answer:
You do not need an installation CD to configure the D-Link wireless router
Connect a LAN cable from the D-Link to your laptop/computer's
LAN port, open the browser on your laptop/computer and enter the D-Link's
The default login = admin
The default PW = blank (just press Enter)
You can now change the default password.
You can now configure the wireless settings.
You now configure the wireless card in your
computer with the D-Link's wireless settings so the computer can connect
to the D-Link via the wireless.
