Hi Basha,
I can see that the issue you have has something to do with the INPUT of your TV. Find on your TV Remote the button that says INPUT, SOURCE, TV/VIDEO or sometimes TV/DVD ( those buttons are for inputs ) then press it once. You should have input lists on your TV and there you can see again the option "Video". Hope it helps.

Rosen roof dvd player has sound but no picture please help

Hi Gill.
Check, Make sure the cables are connected. Try cleaning the laser and the DVD. Make sure the TV is on the correct input.
try swapping one of the sound cables to see if the yellow cables is in fact damaged.
1) Plug the DVD player in to the TV that it does work on. Make sure there is no disc in the player. Check the DVD players set up menu. Look in the Picture menu and change the output to "RGB" Move the player back to the TV/VHS Combi. Select the input that gives you RGB1.

2) Same as above, but this time change the Picture menu to PAL (or composite or Video....whatever is the other option name that isn't RGB or S-Video). Retest on the Combi, but this time you want AV1.

If these don't work then you might need to have a look in the TV manual about connecting external sources. It could be that because the combi has a recorder that it's trying to stop you from copying DVD to VHS. See if there's an input on the combi that bypases the recorder.

Ive connected my vga to vga cable from my desktop pc to the rgb pc input on my lcd tv but it shows no picture. it shows windows loading but wont show my password entry or desktop page

Because your laptop needs it's display setting changing so your second monitor is active.
While on your desktop, right click once and a box will appear, choose "properties" at the bottom.
There you will see another box, choose the "settings" tab at the top right and this will show your display options.
Right click on the number two box and "attach" it.
You may also have to change the size of the display to fit your tv.
Hope this helps

I accidentally set my wii to HDTV settings and I need to reset it back to normal tv but my screen is so messed up I cant see options or anything

You can reset your Nintendo Wii video settings to use Composite (or RCA - Yellow, Red and White) cables by doing the following:

1. Make sure the Nintendo Wii is powered off and a red light is showing.

2. With the power off, unplug the video cables from the back of the Nintendo Wii, leave them plugged into your TV (these should be the RCA/Composite cables)

3. Press the Power button on the front of Nintendo Wii. Make sure the cables are still unplugged.

4. Keep the Nintendo Wii powered on and plug your cables back into it with it still running.

5. If all went well, the picture should appear normally now.

6. Once the picture has reappeared, you should go into the Nintendo Wii Menu (the Wii button in the bottom left hand corner) and change the display back to 480i to make the changes permanent.

Screen is black when trying to take picture

Generally the settings have been changed from Display Mode to Viewfinder Mode. This was probably changed accidentally, but can be reverted by going into the menu under display options and changing it back to display on the small lcd screen.
Also, make sure to check that if there are connector pins that "lock" the screen into place, that both those pins and the small gold-colored strips are clean.

The picture is blue when I play a dvd. I recently connected it to a new Vizio TV. The other tv it was connected to gave us a good picture.

Check your connections for faults, also some connections on TV's are for RGB inputs, so you might have to try another connector or if you can switch the DVD's output to RGB etc.

What type of audio jack rgb/dvi in on rear of lg 50ps3

the dvi out of pc via adaptor to hdmi on tv has no audio,ok.
so LG diagram shows separate audio into Audio in RGB/DVI.
Resulting in video in on HDMI ok,but audio on RGB.Can not get both together.
Fix is revert to DVI to RGB lead with audio on RGB/DVI input.
The audio jack would only work with mono plug for audio in, to RGB.

Picture Mode reverts always to Dynamic after several minutes

The set was a store demo, and the options were set so they could not be adjusted. On instruction from Samsung I pressed MENU and VOLUME buttons on the side of the set and hold for 7 seconds The display reverts to Standard from Dynamic. The Remote Options button showed Store Demo, but now shows Standard. All memory functions seem to function now. Thanks for your help.

Jvc stereo receiver rx-5032vsl

If your TV is a higher quality set that is HD capable, the problem may be in using RCA jacks. I suggest buying some component video cables. Some higher quality DVD players and TVs do not respond well to cheaper video feed wires. The only other option is a problem with the DVD player since the picture is coming through fine through other DVD sets. Try the wires first, its your cheapest option.
