Question about Home Theater Systems

Open Question

Panasonic SA HT 500

Have got home today from work and both red lights are on, one on the system and one on the woofer, but can't get the display to light up. Does any one have any ideas? I have a SA-HT830 that has the same problem - the display does not light up. Everything else seems to be OK and working, but nothing on the front panel display shows up. Can anybody help with this, please?

Repeated F61 fault code on Panasonic Home cinema system Model: SC-HT990 Is it the fan in the sub woofer?

F 61 error means the failure of FAN
most probably dust in the fan made it to stop working so clean the dust and connect the fan to an external supply of 12v(using red and black wire) for 5 minutes and reconnect it to the unit otherwise replace the fan with new one.
Surely this will solve the problem.

Kind regards

Not sure this will work for you, but it did for me. Really simple. Unplug the unit for 5 minutes. Started right up.

Connecting ipod

Yes you can connect your i-pod to your sa-ht 930. You can buy a connection at Walmart for $5 bucks or you can go to Tareget and buy a monster connection for about $25 bucks. I bought the monster connection and works great. All you have to do is connect it to the AUX in the back to the white and red jack in put. Once you connect it change the input selector to AUX and you're ready to go.
