Be sure that the cable used to connect your device to the hub is a true crossover cable. if you are using the cable that was shipped with the device, you may need to check your hub / router settings to be sure that DHCP is active, or set a hard IP for the device.

I think you tv is required to have an interface attached to it. Such as an antenna, or cable line, or game system. It's like telling you "there is no reason for me to turn on, there is nothing connected!"

I have a twinhead ( model # A5020) and it keeps telling me the network cable is not connected

Odds are that you have WiFi --- to lose the network cable message go into Network Settings and disable the Ethernet adapter, since you are not using it. In the meantime the message means nothing to you since you do not use the adapter.

E73 Error

Error E73: General Hardware Error: Ethernet port... this error is caused by a problem with the Ethernet port.

This error is also caused by a cold solder joint under the Southbridge or the Ethernet chip. Can also be one of the solder joints that lead to the GPU.

check if you are getting any flashing red lights on your xbox 360 power up button, if you are not getting any flashing lights the probably you may try unplugging any Ethernet cable attached if you had tried connecting to Xbox Live and at that time you face this error, re-connect and check

If you still get this problem and you see a single flashing red light on your console, please send your console for repair to MS support if it is under warranty

The router setup CD won't recognize my ethernet adapter and keeps telling me it's disabled---I keep re-enabling the ethernet, and setup still tells me it can't find it. My DSL is working fine.

Make sure your ehternet cable from the computer is plug into the lan port of the router. The setup won't start when the cable is plug into the wan.

I don't know how to connect my router. please help

If you have DSL or cable internet, disconnect the ethernet cable going from the DSL or cable internet modem to the computer. Disconnect the end of that cable that plugs into the modem. Connect an ethernet cable from your cable or DSL modem to the router where it says something like "modem", "internet", or "in". If the router is a wired router, connect the ethernet cable that is still attached to the computer to any open ethernet port on the router.
