You can't adjust without remote. Please tell your A/c model number i will advise you where the remote is availbale. And also any of voltas dealer can help you to get it.

if your remote get locked then simultaneously press your temperature up down keys for some time ....lock will be opened .

Are you referring to 16 degrees and 34 degrees?
If you are, it is not possible to lower the setting to 16 degrees, 32 degreees is freezing, so the evaperator coil would start to freeze up, and as the ice spreads across the coil............... Air can not flow through ice, so the air will stop blowing, till you shut the system down for a couple of hours, to allow the ice to melt.
This is the reason why these units are set with min. temp settings.

in the pcb board there is a switch called manual switch it will on ur unit just open the indoor flap.
please call their help line with this issue as i have not seen that error code before and i suspect it's a bad controller board.
