are the wires on the head in the same spot on the compressor
and is the gas level right if they are low it will not work

Prevent any direct sunlight from heating up the room the unit is in. Clean the dust filter every month or as often as it needs it. Limit using any heat generating appliances such as stoves, ovens, microwave ovens, hair dryers, etc.,..

Not sure the make and model of your equipment you have there but sounds to me like your control board is trying to tell you it is bad.

This unit is use in motels etc. Check the ouside coil ( conderser) from the inside (discharge fan ) for dirt. Most of these units are floor level . This can cause a unit to short cycle ( cold air is at the floor) .

Haven't actually located a purchasing point for these battery contacts but have temporarily overcome the problem by use of aluminium foil which is a commonly known workaround.
