this is possible, however not a very good idea.
Bose speakers are designed a little different than other brand speakers, the Equalizer built into the bose system will probably not sound amazing when you hook up your other speakers. Are you looking for more bass? cleaner highs?

if you want more bass, you could try doubling up your subs, if you want cleaner highs you could buy Bose Jewel Cube Speakers (purchased from a Bose Built-Invisible Dealer

Bose soundock 10
You want to plug the SoundDock into a 220 receptacle, is that correct, and the Soundock works off of 120v., correct. I tried to find the specs for the Bose SoundDock, i.e. its wattage rating but it seems that Bose does not publish these specs. At any rate a 220v to 120 v converter should work

The 300 watt converter listed above should work fine. Wahtever converter you use, make sure it operates at 60/50 hz.

Cant connect Macbook to Bose Soundlink Wireless Music System
What I did to connect to BOSE wireless speaker to my MacBook air was go in advance settings and uncheck all three options there and then press the wireless button until it beeped--> then I was able to pair it to my laptop. Success!

Bose uses a proprietary connector for their power supply. Your best bet would be to purchase one, for example at this site: http://www.frontrowelectronics.com/bose-power-supply-sounddock-series-1-white.aspx?utm_source=googleBase&utm_medium=referal&utm_campaign=Bose
The four pin connector is not standard and cannot be found in stores such as Radio Shack, etc.

Bose sounddock not giving any sound. Ipod working fine through earplugs. Unhooked soundock for travel, now no sound. Tried all the resets, etc. Also, new battery in remote and it doesn't respond either????
You probably have a broken docking connector or bad power supply. Contact www.invebo.com to get a replacement board. It takes minutes to fit. They also sell the USB charge upgrade to enable you dock to charge the IPHONE on the Soundock original.
