Gaggia Syncrony no longer rinses during the selftest

Our Gaggia Syncrony no longer rinses when the machine is turned on and it displays selftest. It just goes to "warming up..." Any suggestions on how to correct this?

Rinse option is in the menu. Click on Rinsing and turn it on.

That should be it.

Please read the attached manual...the English version is later on in the manual:

also, try this to reset the machine to factory specs:

You can go through the menu and set the machine back to factory setting by pressing the menu button and using the up or down arrows(first 2 coffee buttons) until display reads Factory Settings, then press the menu/Ok button display will read No, use up or down arrow to select Yes then press Ok.
You can also turn off the rinse cycle using the menu.

I have a Gaggia Syncrony Compact Digital, almost 2 years old, recently the digital display has been fading and today once i turn the steamer off, it still steams at a slow pace and evenutally it stoped,...

The steam valve has been leaking on the inside for awhile, the steam condensed on the display board. You will have to replace the steam valve assembly and maybe the display board.

Gaggia syncrony Digital display says we need to decalcify? How do I do that?

Either purchase packets of De-scale or purchase citric acid. Take 1 tbs and mix in water until completely dissolved. Use cold water. Pour into filling chamber. Run through machine. Rinse with purified water until all is clear. NO after taste. Don't use tap water in these machines. Use a purified water. Coffee still tastes good, and no calcium buildup!

My Gaggia Syncrony machine is very noisy while brewing as if the pump is not "tied down."

That is very possible if it was shipped to you. The pump can get knocked out of its mounts during shipping. There are 2 rubber mounts that slide into notches in the bottom of the machine.

My machine was stuck on rinse cycle now on ventilate...

Try first to continue filling up the water resovoir (UP TO FOUR times) to see if the machine completes the rinse cycle on its own. If that doesn't work contact Gaggia Customer Service in the US at 888-389-4123. Sally there was VERY helpful and should be able to resolve your problem.
