Disc wont read and game won't spin

Gamecube will not run or spin disc and messege comes on screen that says NO DISC
How can I fix that problem?

heh... I just figured out the solution for this problem with regards to my cube - it didn't like the controller I had plugged into it (the plug must be damaged) so I just used a different controller and it worked great. To see if this is your problem try to start your cube with out any controllers in it. If it starts up then it's your controller causing the trouble.

mine spins but wont read what the hell am i sopossed to do? im tired of working onit i had gamecube that broke but i just kept blowing air in it with a dust remover and it worked for a while

I Had The Same Problem! And I Have A Solution. Unscrew the top off and look inside.
there is the off and on switch on the opposite side to the right of it are 2 little switches, they have probably been displaced, they must be held back, the problem is they are running the disks around and it they aren't in the back they wont do anything.The Laser Should Be Cleaned using a Q-tip and Peroxide. Don't Use Too Much Just Clean Off The Laser, If That Doesn't Work, Its A Problem Inside The Machine, And is Extremely Hard To Fix, If Thats Your Problem, I Would Just Buy A New One For 99$ Rather Then Paying 80$ For Some Guy To Look At It And Say You Cant Fix It, If He Can Fix It, You Were Lucky, But If I Were You, I Wouldn't Take That Chance, Try What I Said, It Worked For Me, Now My Cube Is As Good As New. XD

Is your gamecube been used before because i have the same problem! its been used before! I think its done. but first i think mite need to get it looked at some place.

i had this problem with my gamecube system when i put in the game it wouldnt read it but then i took the disc flipped it over then placed it in the slot it didnt read it of course but then i flipped it over again to the correct side then it read the game hopes it works 4 u!

slam it on the ground, punch it with ur fist, and yell at it a couple of times if that dosnt work then try sticking a lil stick of dinamite in the door and sitting it put outside and watching it be blown high in the air!!!!

can play my gcube for a minute by pushing the reader glass thing in place but if i do things that require loading it says somthing about looking at the manuel when i try to get it running the game wont spin anymore PLEASE HELP

i have the same problem ! why shouting when all you need to do take a peice of cotton and clean the glass bulb on the reader

sometimes it doesnt work because there too many controllers plugged in

it must have scratches or your game cube heated up or your game cube is broken

if you've got an unlincensed product, it might be messing with it
I had a MadCat controller that, as soon as I unplugged it, it started working again.

i had a new gcube but it got that problem, luckily is was the wiring that was tangled but a few years later i got it again now i don't know what to do?

ive had this problem. there is no fix for it. the moder is dead

uhh my gamecube disc isn't spining and it says .. INSERT DISC or something like that or NO DISC when i have a disc in the disc is perfectly fine with no scratches. >_< i miss my gamecube ...

What ya gotta do is burn it a lil on the side, and it should work again.
