Try a higher mah battery for example 2500 mah.
if the problem is still there the issue is most likely on the mainboard of the camera, draining too much power, the camera would need to be serviced.
depending on where you live, you can get a free repair estimate from the above website.
if you are on the warranty perioid contact nikon directly or your dealer.
Heres another repairer, I don't know where this guy is at but I think he will provide a free repair estiamte also.
