Question about Alpine eX-10 iPod Controller with Bluetooth Interface
Hii cant connect my ex 10 bluetooth thing via fm transmitter to my alpine x330 headunit i dont know how to as well and do i need to connect a mic to the modulator to speak though the bluetooth
The EX-10 was never intended to be an accessory to the IDA-X300, but should work with FM modulation like any other radio, by making sure the FM frequency is set the same on both units. There are four preset channels in the EX-10 but you can change each one to any frequency.
As for the bluetooth mic connection, you must have that connected for the bluetooth to work. You are better off installing a KCE-400BTi handsfree kit to get better functionality, increased phone compatibility, increased audio quality and the ability to use all of the newer iPods (Gen 2 iTouch, Gen 4 Nano and iPhone 3G).
Hope it helps,
